Position Title: English Teacher – Summer Camp 2025
Location: Tacoronte, Tenerife North
Dates: 9th June to 8th August
Contract Type: Temporary-Part-time, Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:00.
Reports to: Camp Director
We are looking for enthusiastic, fun and energetic English Teachers to join our 2025 Summer Camp team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons that focus on communication, creativity, and fun. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young learners in a lively, project-based setting that combines language learning with summer adventure and fun.
Plan and deliver interactive English lessons in line with the camp’s weekly themes and student age levels (3-12 years)
Use creative teaching methods (games, music, storytelling, role-play) to foster speaking and listening skills
Work closely with other teachers to ensure an immersive English-speaking environment
Support student progress and adapt lessons to meet group needs
Contribute to a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all campers
Assist with arrival and departure day routines and occasional supervision during activities or excursions (as agreed)
Native or near-native English proficiency
A recognised teaching qualification (TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, PGCE, etc.)
Previous experience teaching children in a classroom or camp setting
Energetic, flexible, fun and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Must be legally permitted to work in Spain and have a working visa/permit
Experience working in summer camps or outdoor education
First Aid certification
Knowledge of CEFR and communicative approaches to language teaching
