Our curriculum includes preparation for ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams, ensuring students receive comprehensive and structured musical training. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching piano, with a particular emphasis on preparing students for ABRSM exams. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective piano lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of each student. Students are aged between 4-16 years Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
  • Prepare students for ABRSM practical and theory exams, ensuring they meet the required standards for each grade level.
  • Develop individualized lesson plans that address the unique strengths and areas for improvement of each student.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
  • Participate in school events, recitals, and other performance opportunities to showcase student achievements.
  • Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and ABRSM syllabus changes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in piano performance and a strong understanding of music theory.
  • AT least 2 year experience in preparing students for ABRSM exams with a track record of successful student outcomes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Patience and adaptability to different learning styles and paces.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Music, Music Education or ABRSM certification or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a classroom setting or a music school environment.
  • Speaking English would be beneficial, but  not a requirement
