Dedicated and dynamic Mathematics Teacher with 10 years experience educating high school and college level students. Adept in creative lesson planning and real-world-related instruction. Motivational educator with exceptional communication, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
I am a passionate math teacher who will not only teach students mathematics but also relate it to real word so students can see the usefulness of mathematics around them. I take pride in implementing various mathematical programs that build the knowledge and confidence of students to help them see their growth.
I enjoy positively influencing the lives of children by teaching them the importance of mathematics.
My name is Alberto and I am a teacher at LFT. I would describe myself as an innovative, energetic, charismatic and dependable Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics teacher. I enjoy preparing stimulating lessons, identifying and analysing student needs, strengths, and weaknesses, overseeing experiments, as well as setting and grading assessments. I have 10 years of experience teaching and have taught various levels of learners, including primary, secondary and College students.
I am passionate about the sciences and have a sound understanding of scientific rules, methodologies, theories and analytics. I have a science and mathematics degree related discipline which I have practically applied in a working environment both in Tenerife and the UK.
I have experience teaching in both the British and Spanish education systems and I therefore have a sound understanding of both curriculum requirements and creating educational content that satisfy these requirements.
I am bilingual, I speak both Spanish and English. In my spare time I like to play tennis and learn languages.
My name is Meheraj Sultana and I am the director of the school, but I also teach Maths and English at Learning First Tenerife. I completed my higher education in the UK and have extensive experience working in London, as well as Spain. I have been teaching for many years and have experience teaching in a variety of settings with students of all ages and abilities, including children with special needs.
I consider myself to be an interactive and dynamic teacher and therefore the majority of my lessons are about doing practical and enjoyable exercises that students can understand and where possible, relate to in everyday life. I find that this drives motivation and interest in the subject and it creates a good teacher student rapport, which is essential in the learning process.
English is my first language and teaching it as a foreign language is an absolute joy. I have taught it in commercial language schools, secondary schools and institutions of higher education and in Industry. I place a strong emphasis on learning through dialogue and role play, I find that this is a fun and creative way of expression, which students usually enjoy participating in.
Having studied mathematics and teaching it for several years, it has now become second nature to me. However, I understand that many students enter my classroom with a not-so-favourable view of maths. I appreciate that it can be a challenging subject and my aim is for every student to become better ‘problem solvers’. Even if they do not learn every math concept, the ability to analyse and solve problems will carry with them throughout their lives.
In three words, my students would describe me as patient, caring and encouraging.

After dedicating myself to translating and writing books, I decided to start to teach private French classes. I have been giving private French classes to people of all ages for two years. I am passionate about teaching my native language of which I am very proud of. My classes are dynamic and enjoyable and from my experience of teaching, I have seen that enjoyment and motivation during class is key for students to progress quickly. I focus on the progress of my students and in addition to teaching them my native language, I also involve them in French culture, which is also key to being able to speak correctly. Responsible and applied, I guarantee the best of me during the classes. See you soon!
My name is Federica and I am an English teacher. I graduated in Social Work at the University of Turin in Italy. However, I realized after a few years that I have a big passion for teaching English. Therefore, I completed my first teacher training and I started my adventure as professional teacher. I have been traveling and teaching English since 2016 in several schools and language centres in Asia as well as Spain. During my journeys through amazing countries I also had the opportunity to work and volunteer for some NGO in which I cooperated with people from all over the world.
I would describe myself as a creative and motivated teacher. Indeed, during the lessons I deliver, activities focus on creating an interesting learning context in which students are involved and have fun.
I perfectly understand what challenges learners may face when it comes to learning English and my role is to support and encourage students to achieve their English goals.
