Greetings, I am Esther Sacramento Yanes, and my educational journey began when I ventured to the United Kingdom at the age of 18. Over the course of seven transformative years, I immersed myself in a diverse range of experiences, primarily working as a substitute teacher and private nanny for numerous families. This unique path unveiled not only my profound love for the English language but also ignited my passion for the fields of teaching and childcare. I can confidently say that i am 100% bilingual.
In the last three years, I embarked on a new chapter in my academic journey, graduating with a degree in Applied Linguistics and English Language from Swansea University. This academic achievement further enriched my understanding of language and pedagogy, solidifying my commitment to education.
My time in the UK was an enriching chapter where I discovered the immense joy of fostering language acquisition and nurturing young minds. It was during this period that I came to appreciate the profound impact language has on one’s development and self-assurance. My objective now is to return to my homeland, bringing with me a wealth of knowledge, skills, and a heart filled with a commitment to empowering future generations.
